For the holidays, we created a campaign called Make Everyone Merry with a simple belief, we're all merrier together. In mass media, TV, OOH, print, we spread that message across Canada. And in digital, we made it happen with an experience called Merry under the Mistletoe. We set up real phones in TELUS stores from coast to coast and invited Canadians online to call them. Through live webcam feeds, they could see actual shoppers browsing in real-time, waiting for someone to pick up. The idea was beautiful in its simplicity: if a connection was made under the mistletoe, both people won the phone. Suddenly, strangers were reaching out to strangers. People were laughing, talking, connecting. Shoppers were surprised. Online callers were giddy. And everyone was a little more merry. Because the holidays aren't about the stuff, they're about the moment when someone picks up and you realize you've just made each other's day. That's the kind of connection TELUS is all about. And that's what makes everyone merry.
